Your situation
When work moves to a new scale, site, or team.
A development program may need a new manufacturing partner, a transfer to another site, a scale transition, or better coordination of supply commitments. DEP helps define what needs to transfer and how the work should be organized.

What do you need help with?

Scope and delivery
Useful outputs. Clear responsibilities.
What you bring
Current process and product information, relevant development and analytical reports, existing provider commitments, material or supply requirements, and the milestone ahead.
What you receive
A readiness and gap review; defined provider requirements and proposal comparison; a transfer or manufacturing coordination plan; and a record of responsibilities, dependencies, risks, and deliverable reviews.
Who does the work
DEP aligns the work with the program plan and coordinates the chosen providers. Relevant process, formulation, analytical, and quality specialists review the technical interfaces. Qualified manufacturers and laboratories perform the contracted manufacturing, transfer, and testing work.
Manufacturing spans drug substance and drug product and is not a fixed stage after the other categories. Contracting, quality responsibilities, release authority, and spending approvals are agreed with the sponsor and appropriate providers.
