One defined question.
A clearer basis for action.
A focused review to examine the evidence behind a specific uncertainty and clarify risks, options and next steps. We define the question, deliverables, and stopping point with you before work begins.
When it fits
A specific uncertainty is holding up a decision.
Your team may have conflicting results, an unresolved formulation or solid-state question, or uncertainty about whether the current evidence supports the next step. A Clarity Sprint focuses attention on the defined question. A broader review of the development path may fit a Developability Assessment.
Bounded work
Clear scope. A defined stopping point.
DEP frames the question and brings together relevant expertise to interpret the available evidence. The findings may support a decision or show what additional evidence is needed. The Sprint does not promise that every uncertainty will be resolved.
We define the scope, deliverables, and timing around your question. Experimental work is not included in a standard Sprint. Any additional work is separately scoped; continuation is optional. A Sprint is a specific offering within Focused Technical Support, which can also cover other scoped technical work. You can begin directly without a prior Assessment.

Focused decision brief
Decision it supports: Does the available evidence resolve this specific uncertainty?
- Question and scope
- The decision being examined and the boundaries of the review.
- Evidence and interpretations
- What the existing information supports and which explanations remain possible.
- Recommendation
- A reasoned next step, or the additional evidence needed to reach a decision.
How you can use it: Helps your team act on a defined question without commissioning a broader program review.
