Focused Technical Support
Resolve a
development challenge.
Get the expertise and coordinated work needed for a specific development question. DEP helps frame the issue, bring the right people together, and turn the findings into a useful next step at any stage.
A Clarity Sprint reviews existing evidence around one defined question. Focused Technical Support can also include coordinating new experimental work or delivering a defined technical work package. We work with you to define the scope before work begins.

When focused support fits
A defined need deserves a focused scope.
You may need a specialist view, a technical investigation, or help delivering a work package you have already chosen.
Bring a formulation question, solid-form or patent-related scientific need, analytical concern, process issue, manufacturing transition, or regulatory/CMC coordination need. You do not need to repeat a broad assessment to engage DEP for a specific question.
What DEP does
We clarify the question and the decision it supports, identify relevant expertise, and coordinate the work. Where provider support is needed, DEP can obtain proposals, compare scopes, recommend an option, and review delivery.
What you bring
Your immediate goal, relevant data and reports, previous work, practical constraints, and next milestone. An initial conversation can start without technical detail; confidential material is shared through an agreed process.
What you receive
A scoped evidence review and recommendation, with a prioritized investigation or work plan where needed. Outputs may include a provider/proposal comparison, technical readout, and a record of what is supported, what remains uncertain, and what to do next.
Who contributes
Development experts provide scientific and technical judgment. Appropriate laboratories, CROs, CDMOs, and other providers perform defined work and contribute their expertise. DEP connects these contributions to your objective; you retain program ownership and agreed decision rights.

Focused support
A Clarity Sprint has a defined question.
Explore the Clarity Sprint offering →
A Clarity Sprint reviews existing evidence around one defined uncertainty. Its scope, deliverables, timing, and stopping point are agreed before work begins.
It reviews the relevant evidence and assumptions to clarify risks, options and recommended next steps. It can begin directly at any stage; it does not require a prior assessment. Findings may narrow options or reveal further uncertainties rather than resolve the issue completely.
Where broader risks need review, DEP can scope an assessment. Where work needs sustained coordination, discuss defined workstreams with DEP. Broader program leadership is considered selectively, based on scope, expertise, and capacity.
